Oquirrh Mountain Temple

It was temple time again! This time it was the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Once again Aimee, Logan, and Brooklyn came down and we did the tour together. It's pretty neat to think, we did this tour with a three-year-old and a seven-month-old and this is the second temple they've been able to go through. I had Logan sitting on my lap during the little introductory movie. They showed a picture of Christ and Logan's reaction was so sweet. "That's Jesus. Jesus loves me."Such a simple lesson. And, just in case there is any doubt he is his daddy's son, as we did the tour he could not get over all of the "beautiful lights." (Brandon is an electrician.) It was such a lovely day. Kind of an overcast day,but it was still nice enough for us to do our own thing.

While we didn't do the temple tour with them, we were able to meet up with Mom and Dad for pictures and lunch.

To pass the time while we were waiting for Mom and Dad to do their tour and so Aimee could feed Brooklyn, we took advantage of the sunshine, or at least slightly overcast, sky and Logan and I played on a playground. He was a pretty fun guy to try to keep up with.

He really liked these little bouncer things, until we got on it with him. Granted then he couldn't do his own up and down bouncing. With us on it was more of a side-to-side thing for him.

After the temple and lunch, we went back to Brandon and Aimee's home. (Brandon was on his own vacation, riding his motorcycle to Jackson Hole - and having his own little adventures.) Aimee enjoyed some conversation while the kids napped and then there was more entertainment by them. Brooklyn looks so big here! Granted she is tall, but doesn't weigh a thing. The necklace would be mine. We discovered she is all girl - she can even be bribed with jewelry. The funniest thing was when Logan disappeared from the room we were in "to find a toy for baby Brooklyn to play with." He came back with my necklace! I know she has other toys, but this was her favorite.

These two sure love each other - okay all three of them do.

Little Miss Bright Eyes. I even almost caught her smile. I loved playing with them and getting to spend some extra time with them. They are pretty great!
