Real vs. Greg Louganis Divers

Okay, the real name of the team was Arabe Unido. With the MLS cup last year, RSL qualified to join in play in CONCACAF/Champions League. This was the first game for them in their bracket. This is supposed to be the champion teams in North and South America and the islands. This team is supposed to the champion team from Panama - it was insane. First the crowd wasn't that big. Then this team played, I don't even know how to describe it. It seemed like every play someone from their team was on the field. The stretchers were brought out at least a dozen times, but as soon as they were taken off the field they were able to magically jump up and return to the field. They went through three captains - two were red carded and one did appear to actually be injured. I was expecting a higher level of playing. They really didn't like the way the refs called things. However, to make it fair, the three main refs are from other countries then either of the teams, while the fourth official is from the host team's country. All our visiting refs were from Canada.

I think it's funny when the players on the field are running/walking and the photographer catches it when it neither feet are on the ground.

Penalty kick - it went in - and shortly after their goal keeper went down. Their coach kept getting upset because the ref wasn't paying attention to him when he was trying to use a sub. Ummm, you only get three substitutions per game and you'd already used them all up. At first, I wondered if there were different rules about that in CONCACAF, but I don't believe they are. And the end result was 2-1 in our favor.
