Memorial Day

I think I have come to the conclusion that Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays. I love going to the cemeteries and sharing stories of our family and learning more about them. This year, I got an extra bonus in that Mom and Dad came down to do the graves down here and pick up Grandma and Grandpa and I was able to hitch a ride with them, which meant I could take a nap on the drive.

We met up with Cache Valley family members for brunch. That was yummy. We drove around and observed all of the flooding as well as letting Grandma and Grandpa take a trip down memory lane.
Uncle Dave's grave. Even though I didn't visit him near as often as I should, I miss him. He was so kind and generous.
Trip out to Clarkston. We had rain, wind, snow, and hail. But we still loved it. Ok, it may have been the quickest trip we ha ave ever done.
And this is our heritage.
And don't we all look so happy and warm.
Majority of our Clarkston gang. We were happy that Brian and Hollie didn't bring their youngsters out because it was pretty miserable.
