I actually came very close to calling up my friend, Marcia, and saying let's not go. I'd just had that kind of a day. I am glad that I went. It was just fun to see the players and enjoy their company. You had like two seconds with everyone, so it's not like you were making huge connections with each other, but still fun. I kind of had to laugh at the people who complained about the waits in line and whatever else. What are you expecting. I don't know that there is a perfect way to do this, but it was just fun to me and a much needed break from reality. All pictures were taken by others and posted on Twitter and Facebook, so I can't even take any kind of credit for them. Like last year, I had them sign the journal, it just seems to be easiest way to keep track of things.

Kyle Beckerman had the longest line, big shock there.

I didn't actually get to this table. There were two that I didn't get to.
Kenny Mansally, Ned Grabavoy, and Will Johnson.
It is a beautiful stadium.
Beckerman was friendly and talked to everyone in the line. I don't think he said much more than anyone else.
In the end of things, I was really glad that I went. Here's to next year.
