Delayed Response

I don't remember if I admitted to my natural grace around Christmas time, okay two days after Christmas. Anyway, I'll admit to it know. I fell down Mom and Dad's stairs, of course, I had to wait until one of them could witness it. In trying to catch myself, I pulled my shoulder back when I held onto the banister. Since then, it hasn't felt normal, but there is a pride issue involved in not wanting to go into the doctor. After it really bugging me (including not figuring out how to comfortably drive), I went to the doctor this morning. The good news is, well a couple of bits of good news, I found a new family practice doctor I like - I decided I didn't like mine after the whole strep thing. The other good news, nothing dislocated or anything like that. The official diagnosis was a rotator cuff injury, sprained muscle/tendon (that would be the supraspinatius tendon if that means anything to you), with some impingement. I get to take lots of Ibuprofen, do lots of ice and heat, and do some physical therapy.

What can I say - I am one talented individual! Dr. Paisley liked it when I referred to myself as having natural grace - doesn't that sound better than saying I am a klutz?
