What have I started?

On Valentine's Day we had a potluck at Build A Bear. I worked the closing shift, which meant most of the food was gone by the time I got there, but I did my contribution - which would be a recipe I got from Mom's recipe box called "Better Than Sex Cake." I sent half the cake home with the manager for the evening, Sadee, and left pieces for two of the other managers, Chandee and Nadean (the fourth manager, Jody, took a big piece home with her). When Sadee returned my plate to me on Monday, Nadean left the following note on it for me, which I absolutely had to laugh about:

And, here's the recipe that started it all:

Better Than Sex Cake

1 box yellow cake mix

1/2 c oil

1 small box instant vanilla pudding

1/2 c water

4 eggs

1 small (8 ox) container sour cream

1 bar German chocolate, shredded

1 6 oz pkg chocolate chips (I actually used a 12 oz bag of mini chocolate chips)

1 c chopped pecans

Mix first six ingredients together with electric beater until smooth; add shredded chocolate, chocolate chips, and pecans. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake 55 minutes at 325. Use toothpick to check for doneness. Let cool. Remove from pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Keep covered for freshness.
