Are the Weekends for Rest?

It doesn't always feel like it. This morning started earlier than I like on Saturdays, but it was for a good reason.  I went and got my first ever Bountiful Basket.  This was the "haul."  The only thing that I can't bring myself to eat and ended up giving away was the mushrooms, although they did look pretty.

I had to have others identify these for me.  I've never seen figs in "real life."  But I thought they tasted pretty good.

After that, it was time to go to my cousin, Mikale's, bridal shower.  Her wedding is 11 August.  We were very fortunate to find a time to actually do this with her.  She actually had to leave at noon to go catch a plane to go see her fiance.  It's always fun to see what people bring for the couple to be.

After a shift at Build A Bear, it was off to the game.  This time it was against FC Dallas, and was a very clear win.  It was nice to get the win without the controversial calls.  There are always bad calls, but this time at least there wasn't anything that made people question whether or not we should have won - although Dallas may not have agreed.  Final score was 2-0. Williams and Espindola scored.  Okay, so the question came off of Williams' goal.  Not that it wasn't a goal, but it came off a very unusual gaffe made by their goalie.  Williams actually didn't realize he had scored and it took him a second to figure out what all of the cheering was about.  It was just an overall fun game.
