Verses San Jose

Another game, another victory.  This time with some controversy.  A few weeks back, our team spoke out against a player on another team diving to get a penalty kick.  This game, there is some controversy over whether or not one of our players did the same.  It happened at the north goal and our seats are on south side so I can honestly say I didn't have a good view of it.   I have seen the replays and hate to say that I can't really tell.  Definitely some embellishment (which I also don't agree with), but I don't know that I would say it was an all out dive.  I do know that when Kreis says if he feels it was a dive he will be talking to Sabo and taking care of it, I believe it.  He has already called out Sabo this season for a temper tantrum after being subbed out so I think he will follow through.  Needless to say, if it was a dive, I do believe he should be fined.  I also believe their goalie should have a fine coming to him for the way he handled things.  He was the biggest hot-head.  I actually had a lot of respect for Jon Busch as a player.  I thought he was a great goalie, but I lost some of that respect after watching all of the tantrums he threw.  Yes, this play changed the run of play big time.  Not only did we get the penalty kick, but there was a red card which meant they played a man down.  However, it is then up to their team to take the bad call and battle back.  Fans are going off about missing players and players not being in positions they usually play, etc.  Those are all just excuses.  We had the same kind of bad referring going on in previous games and were able to battle back and at least come up with a draw.  Who care if the team we were playing at the team is one of the lowest in the league.  You play what you are given, bad calls, missing players, and all.  In the end, it was a 4-0 game.  We had a goal disallowed because of off-sides (again I was on the opposite end of the field and I couldn't find the replay of that one to say whether or not I agree with that one).  So, Sabo scored the penalty kick and the second goal and then Beckerman and Olave followed up with the third and fourth goals.  This time the fireworks after the show were fabulous.
