Saturdays are for...

FUN!  And these guys definitely fit the bill.  If you haven't ever heard of Vocal Point, I suggested you search for them on You Tube.  Nine guys doing a Capella.  They are award winning - including the world's best vocal percussionist and soloist - according to the competitions they won last year.  They also participated in The Sing Off on NBC.  I don't know why I had their CDs other than I love this type of music, but when I saw them in Nauvoo this past summer, I definitely fell in love.  (Plus, is was extra fun having AJ at her first concert.)  They are all just good guys.  I loved the singing and dancing and over all good time.  We ended up on the very front row, which is not where I thought I had bought the tickets for, but it was still a great afternoon.  Totally recommend them.  There were a few times I was laughing so much I really thought that I was going to start crying, but it was well worth it.  Then they finish their show with "God Bless the USA" and I did about start crying.  Such a good way to spend the afternoon.

Then, to top it all off, I came home and was able to watch the season opening between RSL and the LA Galaxy and watch RSL beat Galaxy 3-1 on their field - also a great way to spend part of the day.
