Moving Day! Yes, I was excited. Actually, by this point in time, it was just a relief to have it over with. Before the move, it was time to weed out some things, including all of these animals that found a new home:

Fortunately, Brian and Hollie's family really likes stuffed animals, so they took them in. I would prefer to have them go to family than just take them to the DI. Apparently, a few of them were already staked out before I left them with them to take home. All my boxes of books. The thing I keep telling myself is this is after I took over two hundred books to the DI and have more than that on my Kindle. What can I say? I love reading and books, always have.
Friends and family braved the 100 degree weather and we got this - I did pay to have the piano moved, which was actually pretty impressive thing to see. They had the complete move done in less than a half an hour.
We look completely ready to live here, doesn't it? After a few days, we have at least managed to get the front room to look like this - a bit more inhabitable.
Plenty of blankets between the two of us.
Now, the biggest challenge left is the master bedroom which we are turning into our office/library/extra television room.
