Melissa and I enjoyed our second scheduled play of the summer on Thursday night. We decided we needed to bring a little more culture into our lives I guess. Neither of us was familiar with this one and, while I enjoyed the soundtrack I had downloaded, I had a hard time picturing how it was all going to come together. It was so cute! We laughed and cheered. You got dragged into the characters and the misunderstandings and the seemingly innocent comments made that, of course, carry an all together different meaning. Now that I've seen it, the soundtrack makes much more sense. Plus, it was cool to see them land their airplane on the stage (definitely not lifesize, but still very fun).
Next up is Footloose at a theater I believe in Centerville and we are actually playing with the idea of going to the touring production of High School Musical, but that is yet to be decided. Otherwise, Footloose may be it for the summer (but vacation is getting closer and closer!).
