Anniversary Party

My cousin's in-laws celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. It's such a big deal, especially in this day and age. She asked Mom to help out so the whole gang came out to do decorations and work the kitchen so their family could all mix and mingle. Here's some of the decorations. It really did turn out very cool. Lacey ordered a bunch of candy that was popular back in 1959 and her daughter, Madison, did this arrangement.

Russ made the cake. Mr. Wagstaff's dream car was a '62 Corvette, hence the car. Russ had to do some repairs when he got it down there, but was able to do it. Here's a closer look at some of the details:

My project in these receptions has officially become putting up the arch. This time I had help.

They really do make up a pretty cute work crew!

Mom did all of the floral arrangements. I think Aimee helped out with the vases and what was put into them. So final projects:

Dad actually made the backdrop out of PVC pipe, which is pretty cool. Again, Mom did the flowers. Chris and Gabriella did the decorating.
