Every now and then the four permanency teams in my office do a challenge - sort of. We just take some time to leave the office and play. It's a great stress relief. And the activity of choice - BOWLING! It's actually at a kind of ghetto bowling alley, but it's cheap - which fits into our budget. We all figure we have enough stress at work it's great to have a relief. And, yes, sometimes we are thinking of certain clients when we throw the ball down the alley. Maybe that's when we get our better scores. Inevitably (just as a random side note), there is always at least one comment on my shoes, or rather the size of them. It's not my fault that I have small feet or that they put the fluorescent 3/4 on the back of the she where everyone can see it - plus the velcro is a nice touch as well. It's just kind of a random thing for me. Just to make sure I'm fair, I'll announce the winner - Patricia's team took home the trophy. I should have taken a picture of it. It just keeps getting prettier and prettier. (It's an old trophy one of the supervisors got at the DI and each team has to add something to it before the next outing. It really is pretty.)
Don't we all look like professionals who should be helping you in court? This is why we needed the break!
