Christmas Day

Christmas morning was nice and relaxed. It really is different when their aren't little ones in the home. We could sleep in - and, apparently I was the last one awake at 9:30 and would gladly do it again and again - but there isn't quite the same level of excitement when you're opening presents. None of us screamed "it's just what I always wanted." It was still a great morning, with more wonderful food- Orange French Toast this morning. Mom, Dad, and I continued our relaxing while Jen and Will packed up. Then we were joined by Brian, Hollie, Briley, and Ryder.Briley shows Grandma how to work one of Grandma's toys. She's pretty good at giving instructions.
I think she was catching on, but Briley had to make sure.
I love this boy! He is so sweet. He got into the ball, too. He even tried to eat it for a bit, but it really didn't taste good.

After that we loaded into the car to take Jen and Will back to the airport. They had to return home. It would have been nice if they could have spent more time with us, but we will take what we can get. Next time we see them it will be in Rome!!!

Then it was stopping in on Grandma and Grandpa Clark. Then, we stopped in on Brandon, Aimee, Logan, and Brooklyn. Logan hasn't slept much the past few days and it showed as he kept blinking on us.

She really is going to take off soon. She's almost there. She did a few steps back and forth between Brandon and me. She gets very, very excited when she does this.

And that was how I spent my holiday. I hope everyone had a great day. I was lucky enough to be able to see all of the nieces and nephews in these two days, which means my days were wonderful.
