In between the festivities for Sadee and Josh, I met up with Chandee and her sister, Ashlee, for a midnight showing of Eclipse. I freely admit the books are better, but I can't think of a movie that I don't think that's the case. We met up with each other for dinner before heading out to the insanity that is the premier. We went out to a different theater this go around and it was actually much calmer. Of course, there was still the yelling when Edward showed up or when Jacob took off his shirt - really don't understand what the point of yelling at a movie theater screen is and kind of wish I could say it was just random teenagers, but I know better than to think that. I have no issues with the reality of this is not everyone's thing and feel free to mock if it isn't yours, but I enjoy it and like having fun with it. (Plus, there is the fun of realizing I used to babysit one of the wolfpack, even though that's also just a little bit depressing in the reminder of my own age and getting older and older.)30 June 2010
