Last home game during
MLS play, we tied the record by defeating New York. This game we broke the record by beating the Chicago Fire. It's great to have the record. Twenty-three unbeaten home games. After the game, the unfurled a banner for the fans, all of the players went to the banner, and
Beckerman took the microphone to thank the fans for all of their support. Gotta say, even though I know it's not individual, it's nice to be appreciated.

Trying to make the save - this would be the Fire's goalie.

Trying to stop Andy Williams. No matter who's doing it, I don't like the jersey pulling thing.

What a great tackle, all ball.

Fighting for the ball.
Saborio and
Borchers on the defensive - even though
Sabo is a forward.
Olave gets in there. That's one high kick.

Findley gets in there as well.

Nelson Gonzalez is quite fun to watch when he gets the chance to play.

Still one of my favorites on the field. More than anyone else, I would love to get a pedometer on him during one game just see how much he running and field he really does cover.

Pablo Campos enters the game.

Wouldn't be a game without a header from
Borchers.

Kind of looks like he's trying to fly. But, still gotta love him.

Going for the header and looking kind of by himself, might just be the framing on the shot.

Battling with Beltran. Of course, you know who I want to win.

Our turn to do some double teaming.
Sabo is there to back up Beltran.

Getting their star. Is it bad that I enjoy plays like this?

GOAL!!!!!!

And guess who scored it - again?

And then he gets to rest. Every star deserves that.

Wrestling for the ball. Who said soccer wasn't a contact sport?

Congratulating the winners after the game.
