The second home game in our bracket was against Toronto FC (champions from Canada). This team came to prove something since the night before they fired their general manager and coach. Our MLS record may have been better, but when a team has something to prove it can make them very determined, which can make them very dangerous. But, it was all for naught. In spite of our record when the other team scores first, we won 4-1.
Don't remember if this was a Beckerman score or a great save. Of course, with my bias I would definitely say a great header from Beckerman, but I could be lying.
I do know he scored in the game, since he celebrated - or maybe this was the celebration of winning the game. I am pretty sure it was the goal though (this is what happens when you wait to write about things, the details become sketchy).
Saborio goes for the ball. I am positive that he scored this game.
Will Johnson gets tackled. Like I said, they had something to prove.
Another header by Beckerman. It's amazing to watch these. I never could do headers and big part of it for me was fear (partly because of my thick and very necessary glasses, partly because the of the idea of purposely letting something hit me in the head; I never claimed to be a great soccer player).
