St. George

What's a vacation trip without a little bit of drama. Whenever Chandee and I decide to leave town, something happens - in her family And this time was no different. This time her sister's water broke and she was only about five months along. We went to the hospital before leaving town, which I totally understood her needing to do. It didn't bother me at all to get on the road a little later than planned. The baby was still doing fairly well when we left (she did later lose baby Sage when we returned). We were excited to take advantage of the great deal we found in St. George courtesy of Priceline - staying at The Hilton for only $50 per night. I love Priceline! So we got down there pretty much just in time to go to bed.

Friday we hit the outlet malls - got a little bit of Christmas shopping done, got pedicures, and just generally had a good time. Then Chandee and I were off to Tuacahn to see Thriller. Neither of us had ever seen it before so we were pretty excited. It was absolutely incredible. I can't believe what some of the dancers were able to do with their bodies. I'm not sure they all had bones with the way they were moving.
The initial cemetery set. I will totally admit that I was nervous this was going to be scary, which I don't do well. Fortunately, not so much.

A few of the zombies that were wondering around:
It was great fun when one of the zombies scared Chandee.
Children of the Corn set - it was a cool dance, but since I've never seen the movie I don't know much about it. It was a very fun evening, and just the beginning for us.

Saturday, we packed up and went to Cedar City to catch the last day of the Shakespeare Festival (another thing none of us had ever seen). We were able to catch a tour of the theater, which was pretty interesting before seeing The Diary of Anne Frank and Greater Tuna. They were both incredible. I had such a good time, but I love seeing plays and traveling a little out of town. I don't know where the next trip will be, but we will definitely go somewhere else soon.
