Day with Logan

There is a park I pass whenever I go to one of the courthouses that is just about the coolest one I have ever seen. I have wanted to go try it out ever since I discovered it. So when I got the phone call this morning saying Logan wanted to come down early (I was going to pick him up anyway so his parents could go out and celebrate their anniversary), I jumped on the chance. (Did I mention I am a sucker when it comes to spending time with my nieces and nephews. If there is a request and I am available, I am there without hesitation - and I am pretty sure they know it.) So here's the park. Logan is just about the tidiest kid you will ever meet. We got this pose several times, although I really can't say I blame him. It really isn't comfortable having wood chips in your shoes. Even if you don't really care how dirty your feet are.
The hat and shades stayed on all day, even in Wal-mart. He was a pretty good sport about trying out the various parts of the "castle" and letting me get pictures. He did tell me that he would be doing some cute stuff that I would need to get pictures of. (He also told me I looked cool in my hat. How can I not love this kid?)
I think he spent the most time on this little thing. I sat on it with him for a bit (it's a two-seater). It's quite a bit of bounce, I can't blame him for enjoying it.
And, just in case there is any doubt, here's the proof that Aunt Wendy did feed him. The candy really was his treat after lunch. There was more to lunch than a banana and Mambo candy, but, of course, that's all that shows in the picture. I really did have a good time with him. Thanks for coming and playing with me Logan. We'll have to do it again.
