Everyone Loves a Parade!

For our quarterly activity we decided to cheat and latch on to our ward's annual Fourth of July Pancake breakfast. This really did make planning it all that much easier. We were in charge of the parade and our kids did a great job. They decorated whatever form of transportation they preferred and away we went. We even had one little girl tell her parents they couldn't go on their vacation until after the parade. We had a few of our nursery kids join in (they won't go into nursery without a fight on Sundays, but they had fun in the parade). I could not have been happier with the turn out. We even had a little John Phillips Sousa to march to us our Bishop pulled his car over and blasted "Stars and Strips Forever." All in all, I think it went pretty well and everyone had a good time. They didn't want to stop marching, but you can only go around the parking lot so many times.
